Black+White

A male client of mine really, really, really needs to change out his white cabinets for this look.  I think changing all the cabinets to black would be best but I'm all for compromise and this picture depicts a nice marriage between the two.

London's St. Pancras Renaissance

Anybody who really knows me knows that London is my 'favourite' city.  This particular hotel, St. Pancras Renaissance, is a restored 19th century gothic revival railway station hotel.  Originally built in 1873 as the Midland Grand Hotel this building adjoins the St. Pancras railway station. I think I could enjoy a stay here! Just like London, this hotel is a nice mix of old and new.

Office+Nature=Productivity

I love to see different work space design options and this one is by far the most connected to nature! I read about this space awhile back so I'm sorry to say I don't remember where this is located. This trumps the corner office with a view--the whole office gets a view!

Pink Treat

This absolutely adorable cake is really more of a spring post.. especially with Thanksgiving around the corner but I couldn't resist! Ombre can be seen all over in the design world--even food! I stumbled upon this post by Glorious Treats and thought of all my friends with little girls. This would make for one cute birthday cake! Imagine the gasps when you cut into this cake!

Icy Hot

A couple of things I love about this living room: that ice blue color--so relaxing! Those architectural prints--I could use them in any room. Light rug to contrast the dark colors of the chairs and artwork. The fireplace makes this living room so cozy! The coolness of the colors mix so nicely with the warmth of the fabrics and fireplace.

Canary Inspiration

I have always loved canary diamonds and this color makes for a nice pop with a more subdued color palatte!
White... Black...Greige... Canary!

Room With a View

Talk about a room with a view..but yet in a small space! Who says you have to have a large bedroom to make a large impact?

Design for Boys!

A Union Jack to bump up the 'smart' factor in a boys room...  I also love the collection of artwork over the headboards or over a shared bachelors chest.
Love maps and think they should be added to all kids' rooms.. whether it be their personal bedroom or a playroom.

I'm never a fan of 'baby' fabrics so I love this quirky pattern with more crisp window treatments in this boy's nursery.
How fun is this boys room?

Lay It All Out

No upper cabinetry here--putting it all on display.  White floors are a favorite of mine although still very unconventional in the States.  Perfect with contrasting black doors and accent wall over workspace.

Blue Love

So in love with this shade of blue.  Add extra white moldings and dark wood floors and you have perfection!
